| Vietnam To Become Major Wood Product Exporter ******************************************** The Vietnamese wood product industry could potentially be worth US$5.5 billion by 2010. Vietnam exported US$1 billion worth of wooden products in the first seven months of this year, up 26.6% year-on-year, while shipments to Japan, the EU and the USA have grown fast. Following these positive figures, the Ministry of Trade has announced an export strategy for the next four years, aiming to bring in US$5.5 billion from wood products. According to wood product exporters, the advantages of WTO membership put the target within reach. As you might know, there are lots of Vietnam trading sites out there on the Internet, some good and some bad. |
