TOUR 3: HANOI – HALONG – CAT BA

DAY 1: Arrival Day
Pick up at the airport, transfer to the hotel at Old Quarter.
Free time for leisure and shopping.
DAY 2 : HA NOI CITY TOUR (B/L/-)
8:00 you will visit Ngoc Son temple, coach trip along the Hanoi Old Quarters, pass by Dong
Xuan market then continue to the Old Citadel.
Stop for a visit at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, One Pillar Pagoda. Continuing
on to the Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Break for Lunch.
PM : After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum, continue to visit the Literature
Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. Back to your hotel.
DAY 3: HA LONG BAY – CATBA ISLAND (B/L/D)
7.30 Pick you up at hotel.
8.00 Departure for Ha Long City. Halfway there, we’ll stop for a short break.
11.30 Arrive in Ha Long City and to meet our boat. Out on the bay, you’ll enjoy a wonderful
seafood lunch.
13.00 You will explore some of the bay’s most famous caves. Following a stop at the Sung
Sot Cave, which is sure to impress with its wealth of eerily unique stalactites and stalagmites,
you’ll visit the Surprising Cave, as it’s known in English, which is reputed to be the most
beautiful in the area.
16.00 Next, a cruise to Lan Ha Bay, where you’ll unwind in the afternoon sun and enjoy a
relaxing swim in its calm waters. Afterwards, the boat drops anchor, and you settle in for the
evening. You’ll follow another delicious meal with a quiet evening out on the water before
retiring to your comfortably equipped room to rest until morning.
DAY 4: CAT BA NATIONAL PARK - KAYAKING (B/L/D)
7.00 The boat cruises into Cat Ba Harbour. After that, you will check into the hotel.
8.00 The bus will take you to the National Park, the home of 32 different types of mammals
and more than 2000 species of Plants and other flora.
13.00 Back on the water, you’ll trade the Chinese Junk for a more nimble kayak as you get in
for a closer look at the natural splendor of Lan Ha Bay. You’ll also stop in to see the
mischievous monkeys at Monkey Island and the white sands of Cat Dua Beach for an
afternoon swim before returning to the hotel in Cat Ba.
DAY 5: CAT BA - HANOI (B/L/-)
7.00 Following breakfast, we depart for Cat Ba Island, Ha Long City. Along the way, the boat
makes a short stop at Van Gia Village, which features a French supported school for
fishermen’s children.
11:15 Arrival at the Ha Long Port with a stop for lunch.
13:00 We depart from Ha Long and head for Ha Noi.
16:15 We arrive back in Ha Noi and drop you off at the hotel.
DAY 6: DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
Free time until our car picks you up at the hotel to go to the airport.
End of tour.
